About Us
CCOA - Aging, Weatherization and Human Services was incorporated as a private non-profit agency in December, 1973. Originally known as Canyon County Organization on Aging (CCOA) and created as a senior services agency, we grew and expanded over the years. In 2000 the agency name was changed to CCOA - Aging, Weatherization and Human Services to better reflect our service and the areas we serve. Many of our programs serve several counties throughout Southwest Idaho.
CCOA is proud of the contributions we have made in the communities we serve. Many seniors have been able to remain in their homes and avoid placement in other living arrangements. Many find prescription costs unaffordable yet necessary. Our advocate helps access assistance programs to obtain these medications. Energy bills continue to rise. Weatherization conservation measures reduce energy costs and make homes more comfortable.
All CCOA programs contribute to making our communities a better place in which to live. As we look to the future, we realize we must continue to live our vision ...
