Please call 24 hours in advance to ride the senior bus. There is a brief questionnaire for all new riders. Due to the increase in ridership and area we have to cover, it may be difficult to schedule the exact time you are requesting. We will do our best to get you to your appointment. The Caldwell senior bus is a door to door on-demand service available for appointments for medical & hair/ nails, nutrition, employment, shopping or just visiting.
Transportation is available to anyone age 60 and over. It is available for medical, nutritional, employment, educational, social and recreational needs. Buses are available at the Parma Senior Center, 722-5421, the Nampa Senior Center 467-7266, Melba Senior Center 495-2168 and through CCOA in Caldwell at 459-0063. Please call for the hours of operation. There is no charge for riding the bus, however, there is a suggested donation of $.75 per boarding to help defray the cost of operation.
CCOA also offers a wheelchair van available for medical appointments only. Volunteer drivers are available for medical needs, which cannot be accommodated by a local bus. Please call 459-0063 for more informatio

Created in 1993, the Corporation for National Service gives more that a million Americans opportunities to improve communities through service. By providing a stipend, mileage reimbursement and training volunteers can serve their communities according their skills and abilities without cost to themselves.
